Yes, they are. The Estonian Waffen-SS was never found guilty in any war crimes. They were made an exception by the western allies, because they were not fighting for the ideology of the Nazis, but because they wanted to avenge the Soviets after they had deported tens of thousand of Estonians to Siberia during their first occupation of Estonia in 1940-1941. The germans, back then, were seen as liberators from the Soviet opression and as a chance to repay the Soviets, in blood. Ofcourse, that did not work out for them- nazi Germany lost the war and the Soviets came back, occupied Estonia for another 47 years and deported 100 000 people.

That's why they're always seen petting white fluffy cats in their laps.

They pop up on little fobs and bases all the time.
We have a tendency of feeding stray cats and dogs so they come around a lot.
So if a stray cat wanders in and has kittens, a lot of time they guys will raise them as like company mascots or something, anything to take their minds off the daily **** .
