Actually I think they want people to say over and over again that the Xbox won.

It should be called XBOX 180 because that is what it did.

I started on sony, psx and ps2. When the ps3 came out is was 799. I wanted it for a Christmas gift, the 360 was 499 so my parents got me that instead. That day I became a xbox fag, I even later got a ps3 and didn't like it. I have loved the 360. But this ****. Looks like I'm reverting to a ps4 or this badass rig I'm building. It will be a while before it is done, it cost so much money. I'm ditching consoles for good, I have never been a pc gamer either, so this is new territory. Gonna have to get used to a mouse and keybored, after I figure out the best keybored and mouse for gaming. And I will get a controller when I can use it for certain games, I hate the feel of a keybored and mouse.
Second note, what would someone recommend as a best gpu? I can run crossfire or sli. I want to run 2 or would it be best just to run one gpu? I can run 1x16 or 2x8. each gpu for about 200 apiece. I want to put it on a hd tv 1080p with yellow sub pixels. 40". My specs will be a ud3h mobo. intel 3570k or a 3770k ( not sure if I want to pay an extra 100 for hyperthreading) 32 gigs of ddr3 1600 mhz., ssd for boot drive. and a 4terebyte storage drive. will be using water cooling on everything. So what would be the best gpu(s) on this build. This is my first build ever.

Made that switch last summer myself. It was so grand. Mouse and Keyboard aren't too horrible.

I'm sure it will take a week or 2 to get used to it. I have my eye on a razor keybored with little progamble buttons with little screen behind them. So if I program a button to be a potion button a potion eyecon will appear behind said button. Also a touch screen mouse display. Then I have to figure out my mouse I will get.

Yea, I put an excessive amount into the setup. I still need a mouse. Got a Keyboard that's pretty slick. Worth it though. Unfortunately the motherboard is faulty so I have to send it in. Having some professionals playing with it. I put far too much money in for me to dick around with it myself.

What are your specs. I only have a case, a31, mobo ud3h and a 850 watt modular power supply. This power supply is pretty awesome.

That power supply is pretty sweet. For specs I got:

i5-Ivybridge
2 Terabytes of space
A 160 GB SSD
ASUS Sabertooth Motherboard
A Thermalake Tower
GeForce GTX 670 Video Card
8 GB of RAM (Will install another 8 eventually
And an aftermarket HSF.

Nice. I'm going to put win 7 in mine. Don't like win 8. I've tried to. I'm not just jumping on the badwagon. I have already out 350 into mine and only have 3 parts. I plan on putting a total on 2k into it. I want it to be future proof. 4 terebytes is probally over doing it, lol. And I'm just going to use a 60 gig ssd.

Nice, take your time and definitely make sure everything goes together haha. I posted my setup on the Newegg forums and they were pretty happy. 2k is a bit much though. I spent 1300 on mine and it has more power than it would every need.

Well, I'm deciding if I want to spend an extra 100 for an i7 that is exactly the same as a i5 but the only difference is the i7 has hyperthreading for 100 more dollars. That can save me some money. And the extra money I'm spending will be from the water cooling so I can oc my cpu to over 4.5 ghz. And of course the redundant amount of ram I'm putting in it. And I saved 80 bucks on my psu. Tiger drirect had a special on it. It is this one if you want a look.

Hmmm. I see. Well, it's up to you, but watercooling, especially on your first build is risky and hard as ****. I would stick to fans, and keep it at an i5. You can still overclock quite a bit without any hassle. However, you do seem to know more than I, as I don't know much about hyperthreading. Anyway you can break that down in to layman's terms.

Well, hyper threading just doubles the cores. Think of a thread as a core. Every core is paired with a thread. It doesn't double the cores physicly either, more like software. You will have a 4 core i7 like the one I'm talking about, but it has hyperthreading, so even though it is a 4 core chip, you can run task manager and it will show 8 cores. but they are not as strong as a real core. That is why I'm debating if I want to spend an extra 100 bucks just for hyoerthreading. And it looks pretty easy to water cool. I have messed with the piping they use in house and stuff like that. I'm just gonna fire it up first and make sure I didn't get a bad part. It already has 3 fans in it.
here is the i7 I'm talking about. Go to this site and click on the core number and the hyperthreding at the bottom, it will tell you what they are in laymans terms

After the Xbox One event Sony's shares went up by 10% and Wii U sales spiked. Microsoft are going to have to play E3 well to recover from this.

over the past 5 years time, (wii/wii u era) nintendos stock has gone down 80 percent in value, same time period sony went down 56 percent. Microsoft is the only one thats been succesful with the newer generation, going up 22% in total. stocks arent the important peice here, mainly because microsoft and sony make such a small portion of their money on gaming comparitivly. nintendo's stock however, shows us that nintendo is dying, so sad
