I just want to say this about that:
This proves the Master Chief is extremely badass and strong-willed enough to conquer anything.
According to the books, you're not supposed to have a single shred of anything covering your skin (not even a ******* bandage) when you go into those, because when you get out of cryo, you will have an incredibly painful burn where that something was that even many ODSTs can't stand and need powerful painkillers for. The Master Chief (and Kelly, I suppose) doesn't even give a ****. In fact, a couple Marines saw him going into the tube wearing full armor and were like "Is this guy serious? The pain when he comes out will probably kill him..."
However, he is kind of an idiot because of that; before you get in a tube, you're supposed to swallow a specially-made fluid that fills your lungs that you later cough up and re-swallow to replenish nutrients lost during cryo. He didn't do that, so I would imagine that "realistically" (according to the books, anyway), he would be quite malnourished at the beginning of Halos 1 and 4. Maybe he just ate a big meal beforehand and didn't want to taste that **** that's described as "slimy mucus that still tastes like mucus no matter how much it's reformulated".

TLR just canonical ****, yo.

Its because sheets are almost impossible to model with current gen hardware. Realistic cloth is really hard to get in games. For Arkham Asylum they had a dedicated cape guy who worked on nothing but the cape for the entire two year + production.

I've slept in a full chainmaile suit before, woke up at 5am with a weird chainmaile imprint on my arse and top of my back...

Except when you are on a boat.

Never wear armor when you are in a boat.

9/10 you will slip to the ocean and drown
