Fun fact for you all, the guy who linked Autism and vaccinations was conclusively discredited and had his doctorate stripped.
Also, go talk to someone who grew up with polio as a child before you refuse to vaccinate your child. Those childhood diseases are horrifying.

Recently, an Italian court ruled that the MMR vaccine caused autism, and the U.S. media blacked it out.
So....
uh..
yeah

Source? And think that could be because, I don't know, the population has increased?

Population increases won't effect these kind of statistics. 1 out of 50 in a population is the same relative amount if there is 10000 people or 100000000 people.

It's a relative proportion. A change in the absolute population will not affect it ideally. Of course, the real world is not ideal, and a heightened reproductive rate in those more prone to autistic offspring could indeed contribute, though not significantly.

Yes. Because the increasing ability to diagnose disorders had nothing to do with those statistics...

Nor the fact that people are having children later in life which is associated with several major genetic diseases.

Wait... So there are actually still people around who believe vaccines cause autism?

Yes, its smaller number now but I know there is an entire town in Oregon that believes this still and refuses to vaccinate.

but pretty much all doctors disagree with this. If you decide to actually look at it instead of blurting out what the media has forced down your throats you'll see theres a bit more to the story. Pretty much all countries have banned the MMR or at least stopped using it, even if it doesn't cause or somehow trigger autism something about it is not right.
TL;DR don't give your kids MMR just give the single M and M shots

I don't think shots of chocolate candies will do much to stave off rubella.

My grandma had polio when she was 7, and she still can't walk or use her right arm.
