This guy right here, Kevin Durant, donated 1 million dollars and didn't feel the need to go on twitter bragging about it

He's not bragging, he's criticizing people who actually thought they made a difference by praying to a invisible man in the sky.

Ricky Gervais has 4,608,455 followers, so if 10% of those donate $5, its $2,304,227.50 donated to the cause. Plus it's funnty and it gets shared around on sites like this one and it reaches even more viewers. I wouldn't call it bragging...

Ok maybe this needs to be explained to you. Ricky is an atheist so that is his way to mock those who are seemingly doing something about it (praying) and getting into news because of it versus people who are actually doing something (sending money, collecting money, volunteering)

You are welcome.

He also tweeted: “Praying for the victims of the Tornadoes in OKC these last few days..Everybody stay safe!”

He wasn't bragging. Ridiculing wealthy pop stars' decisions to contribute nothing further than muttering into the air for help is not bragging. That he said he donated money is an attempt to set an example.
