I recall learning about how some species of tarantula will pull out their ass hairs when they get stressed/angry and throw them at whatever is pissing them off.   
   
I'm so glad humans (most humans at least) don't do that. Otherwise I imagine too many of those posts and uploads about Dark Souls or the water temple from Ocarina of Time would involve details about having to stop to clean all the bloody ass hair off the television screen while playing.

Actually alot more logic behind the hair thing for arachnids. The hairs on Tarantulas are actually so fine that they get stuck in your skin like a tiny splinters that cause a **** ton of irritation. But the Tarantula only does that as a defense, if its comfortable with you it won't let it hairs fall.

I guess that makes tarantulas a little more civilized than the humans who throw their own ass hairs, since I doubt that many (if any) of the humans doing that are doing so in self defense.
