What situation could possibly make it okay for her to say that?
If someone would say the exact same thing but with the word "Black" instead of "White" it would be considered very inappropriate, to say the least.

The reverse basically did happen. He confirmed that she was occasionally an angry black woman and that if she stopped being a black woman she should let him know, So she responded with this.

Well if we were to insult a black man, it's going to be brought up by some racist ****** that he's black. (Ex. Chris Rock)

Yet if we insult a white man, it;s rarely brought up that he's white. Instead we find other things to insult them with. (Ex. Justin Bieber, did I say man? I didn't mean to.)

But to say that and not look for himself, and then continue to bitch about how if it were reversed in color it would be messed up. Could have just asked the question and avoided that second sentence all together.

I think she is more or less pointing out the sociological trend in which white people have historically held the wealth. The generic rich person is most likely white. All the 'old money" rich people anyways.

Yes! But it's also the Colbert Report so it's all just one big joke.

And I'd like to say that issues of racial bias still present themselves in television. Perhaps not as much as they used to, and definitely not in the realm of comedy.

The Salary in the US isn't bad at all considering A), you start off low and get bonuses each year you work, garunteed, I have had plenty of older teachers who make 100k+ a year. B) you get a penion (maybe) and healthcare. C) government job with a union so really good job security. D) great hours.....8hours 5 days per week with summers, and major holidays off ( only have to work 180 days per year.) E) and that thing about having to grade and other things at home is kinda ********, most salaried workers take their jobs home in one form or another.
TL;DR It may never make you rich but it is not a bad gig. Much ******** jobs out there

I don't know what state you're talking about, but my Mom, who's been a teacher in Virginia for close to 20 years now, makes 30k per year. She has very little benifits, and she spends about 3 hours everyday grading papers because she's the only 3rd grade teacher at her school. 180 day work year is the only reason she's stuck with the job. But I didn't talk about the benifits, it's **** salaray.

I believe the context you're looking for would be a "Joke". An unusual context, to be sure, wherein one party generally does or says something absurd, many times calling out a negative aspect of the human condition, in order to illicit a laughter response. Strange things, these jokes.

Ironic that you're getting upset with him for supposedly not getting a joke, when you are clearly the one not getting his.

I guarantee no one on this cite legitimately agrees with the content of that chart. It was made by 4chan's /v/ in order to make fun of feminists.

They're usually the ones taking a jab at feminists (if not women in general) in a dozen threads.
I know /v/ has its fair share of threads that pertain to this, but /r9k/ would be a more likely possibility.
