40kg girls? Don't get me wrong, I'm not at all on this "Hurr curvy grilz!"-bandwagon, but I sure don't want to date skeletons or 10 year old girls...

SEAfag here and lots of girls around 20 and up with some Chinese gene mixed in are usually around 40-50 kgs and 140-160 cm. Their bodies are proportional (not Verne Troyer midget kind); not boney or malnourished in the slightest
They're look pretty much like 12 year olds.
Reverse jailbait.

I used to weigh 50kg and I also thought I was doomed by genetics and no matter how much I ate I wouldn't gain weigh. I thought I was eating a lot but I wasn't. I started eating until I felt like puking and now that I'm 16 I weigh 62 lbs and I'm supposed to weigh 70kg for my height. (it only took 3-4 months).
Trust me, if you're not gaining weight and you think you're eating a lot, it's because you are not eating enough, genetics are just an excuse.

I have two sisters with another father than i. Their father was fat as ******* hell. They started out thin, and now theyre struggling to loose weight. Our mother has always been thin. My father was slim and tall. I am still thin as a skeleton. Also, you do not know me, so assuming i dont eat enough is not a valid point
Genetics frikken matter, dontcha see?
For further information, search Penn and Teller ******** - genetics vs exercise. They tell how genetics affects body types. I hope to lead to into the light of knowledge

I have already seen that episode, my mother is slim and all of my father's side of the family are slim, but that doesn't mean you have to stay slim as a twig and unless you have some weird disease it is impossible for you to not gain weight even if you're eating a lot, you might not get fat but you can still get an appropriate body weight, you just have to eat more. It is clear you have not understood that Penn and Teller episode because they are talking about getting impossible bodies for your body type, but that does NOT mean you can't gain weight, higher caloric input = gain wait, it's that simple.
I was you when I was 15 and I got so depressed with my body I just started eating more, I'm still thin but in the normal range.

I happen to be different than you. Surprise, people are different. My body type is slim, and first now am i starting to get upwards relative to my height.
I've slowed down in height growing
My mom eats healthily and exercises alot. First now is she starting to feel the effects of making everything purposefully fatter.
Her husband doesnt eat all dahm day until he makes great dinner, and he is disturbingly thin
. If you still claim i don't eat enough, then i can tell you that i eat normally. I eat quite healthily, and ideally i will eat dinner 3 times a day. I eat frequently, since i require a steady intake of food, since I'm hungry all the dahm time. The only eating disorder i have is 'theres-nothing-i-feel-like-eating' when theres nothing i want to eat. If there's always something i want to eat, i will stuff my stomach constantly, which is sadly rare

Now that's what I'm talking about, you're eating enough food to maintain your own body weight, NOT to gain weight, you're supposed to eat 5-6 times a day if you want to grow. You're an ectomorph so you have to eat more than people would normally eat to gain weight and of course I am not saying I'm like you, I have the same body type and I used to say it was impossible for me to gain weight, but if you keep insisting you can't, well I guess you can't. Just try, it won't hurt and you'll look and feel better.

You're clearly not eating enough then. I hate it when people say things like this. "Hurr I ate some pizza today, so I clearly eat loads and loads of food". That's not how it works.

sigh
A few years ago i ate so much candy on a daily basis.I didnt gain any weight during that time. I also do not exercise at frikken all. I eat more healthily today, but i still eat averagely. Ideally i will have dinner for breakfast, second breakfast, lunch and dinner. Often i get hungry after dinner.
I think i have a small stomach capacity or something. I eat spread out over the whole day so i still get enough to eat

Most girls I know weigh around 40 to 60 kg. They're all short and petite.

Well frankly, I don't think weight gives anything about how they look. if anything I'm 1.75m and weigh 80 kg and I'm just a muscular girl.

A muscular girl named Freddychavez? Curious as to how that came about. Judging by the red, no one seems to agree with me despite me saying it was my PERSONAL opinion, it's not like I went and thumbed down everyone who disagreed with me. Everyone is entitled to their own preferences.

PFSSH don't look at my name, it was funny at the start.( I wanted to pretend I'm a guy on the internet, turns out nobody cares) I'm not really dissing your opinion, it's just something I always have to state when I'm like "hey I weigh 80 kg, but that's I'm muscular. I'm not fat."

Well seems I struck a nerve with somebody, more red. Aw well haha. It's alright, as you can see by my name, I see where you're coming from. Well guy, or girl, or it, you seem pretty cool, so have some green.

40kg is still pretty light I tink. When you're only 1,50m short and 40kg, you're probably still underweight.
But I mean you're right, depends on the dimensions.
