Year 10 000
100 000
1 000 000
10 000 000

Although at that point we will use eras, and most likely each planet will use a different dating system.

Do you really think people will continue using the Christian calendar for that long? I give us 1,000 years tops to come up with a more efficient calendar.

idki think its pretty efficient, and it might be nearly imposible to change it into something else, look at the US, they tried to change into metric in the 80's and look at us now, still using the retarded imperial system, its too hard to change a multitude of people.

That's a pretty bad example, though, since nearly the entire rest of the world has changed to metric, most of us from something more "traditional" but less consistant. Hardly anyöne here knows the old Swedish system beyond "xyz thumbs/inches is a large/small television".

Humans are estimated to die out within 5000 years. Don't ask for a source, I don't remember it. Something about sentient species dying off really fast because of what we accomplish.

When I'm really really old, I'm just going to tell my grandkids about epic historical events that didn't happen. Before they're old enough to have gone to school and taken a history class, so they believe everything I say for a couple years before they realize I'm full of ****.
Like, I'll tell them about the time the Daleks invaded Earth, or how most of the world ended in 2012, or the war with the alien Buggers, those times the Transformers and those two Norse gods came to earth, and that one time we blew up a giant meteor headed for Earth.

Oh, but you have to remind them of the child soldier who was conned into playing an old simulation machine that seemed to have the first example of adaptive AI only to have the cruelty of reality brought into light as our military commanders revealed to him that his dirty third self had actually just murdered off an entire non-hostile race that we were only afraid of because we threatened them inadvertently the first time we met them.

2013 isn't really a relevant number, if you think about it. The human race is about 200,000 years old, the planet is at around 4.54 billion years, and the universe is at 13.77 billion years. Our measure of time isn't really reflecting the amount of years that out race or our universe or anything has actually existed. So by one method of representing time 1990s kids are the last to be born in a very long time in a year starting with 1, but what if we change our year system to reflect something new? Or if we just start our counter over? It doesn't really mean anything, then.

Humans have had one of the smallest existence times on Earth, as you said; only 200,000 years. Yet in that time we changed more than EVERY other species on Earth could in the 4.5 billion years the Earth has existed.

Be proud to be human.

If we live to over 100, i'd doubt we'll be like the 100 year olds today. Baring in mind that 100 years ago, the average 40 year old would have probably looked like the average 60-70 year old today due to overworking in harsh conditions and bad living conditions due to smog and poor diet, the average 100 year old in 100 years time may look more like a 60 year old.
