This small island is called Migingo, about 500 people live on it. The island has it's own restaurants, church, bars, a cinema (room with chairs and a TV) and it even has a brothel.

Its population is actually 131 according to a 2009 census, and its size is about half the size of a football pitch.

I got my fact from a magazine that my mum likes to collect, and it was this weeks edition so mine would be a 2013 statistic

400 people in 3 years on such a small island, seem unlikely.

The text on page 17 reads:

"Some 500 people call the rocky outcrop of Migingo their home... etc"

Photo's were taken from my ******* appalling webcam, sorry for their quality, I hope we can clear up the fact that I'm not just pulling these numbers out of thin air =)

Let me guess, their main method of substanance is fishing. But then, if it's in the middle of Lake Victoria, as Carthusia claims, they could just go to the mainland for food.

I am very bad at spelling. Always have been, always will. I'm just astounded that it took so long for somebody to finally correct me.
