You mean to say that there are countries where there are no cars with three pedals? I know some of the cars here are so called 'automatics' who only have two, but having three is easier to me, and that's the most common over here (Belgium).

Is this a true thing, or is this just a joke I'm misinterpreting?

saying that manual is "easier" than automatic is pretty stupid. you can get used to it and it can be easy for you, but having to not use a clutch nor shift would always be easier.

There was a reason that automatic was invented. It's easy. There isn't a learning curve to it, and there's no risk of stripping your gears.

Having a leg problem in my left leg, I can't drive a clutch.

I do drive, a stepthronic car though, more fun than an automatic.

I live in Canada.

Depends where you live. I'm from the south, where knowing how to drive a stick shift is almost mandatory. Most other places, particularly in urban areas, are where a majority of people drive automatic.

I live in the South and drive an automatic. I would love a manual.

The only sucky part about driving a manual is hills. I'm not too used to them since I live on the coast

The hills and sharp turn are the best part! You speed up and go around and change gears and have FUN!

No, that is fun, especially if you're 4wheeling, I meant when I'm in a town and have to stop uphill for a light or something, then start again

I thought it's known all over the world that the anti-theft system for your car in America is having a manual car xD

Not in the north, either

Many city-folk in America are accustomed to automatic transmission.
Numerous rednecks and car aficionados still drive standards.

I imagine all countries have at least one manual car in them.
