Could someone tell me what's the origin of this picture? Why is there a guy being photographed while doing weird stuff in the ocean?
Why does he have such a bad haircut?

He keeps the heart of a small boy in a glass jar on his desk.
It should be on his shelf.

They were planning to make one on HBO. They were gonna make a movie based on The Gunslinger, then have a TV series based on The Drawing of the Three. Then a movie based on the waste lands, and so on. THey'd be going back and forth between movie and TV series for each book. Sadly, this project was announced years ago, and has been in development hell since. It seems as though it will never happen.

Because the DT is an ENORMOUS project that requires ******* of money AND there is no guarantee that they won't **** it up (since the story isn't the problem, the story is awesome). Many companies like Universal Pictures, Warner Bros and lastly the HBO that you mentioned. ALL of them INCLUDING HBO have already passed on the adaptations, sadly.

i know how you feel, everything after the wizard and glass just keeps antying up the ******** out of nowhere. hell, the only reason i like wizard and glass is because it's a science fiction, western, horror version of romeo and juliet

The problem with The Dark Tower is that it's the magnum opus of Stephen King. A lot of characters from his other books appear in this series and you should actually read those before the DT. Then everything would make sense and make it even more awesome.

It wouldn't be worth it, there's too many character that have a ****** up death because of the "ka"
And that aside, the last book is a joke.

It's a shame some of the films from his books just butchered them.

Still haven't managed to read the book in case the ending is equally as appalling. Seriously, watch the film and weep and its lack luster finish. It just leaves you like '.... I hate everyone who had anything to do with this film'

hate to say this because that quote is awesome and stephen king is the AWESOMEST, but that qote is NOT from stephen king, he borrowed it from robert bloch, but it got popular when king used it, although he never claimed it to be originally his idea.

just thought I'd clear that up
