22, the author name, is actually a thing done by publishers when the author's name will catch more attention then the book title. It pretty much means that author is a hardass of their genre and earned that big ass name. James Patterson will catch more attention than generic mystery with slight supernatural stuff. Source, my mom is an author.

I think everyons is aware of that. What actually "bothers" me, is that you'll buy a book because the author is well-known. You dont necessarily like of know his work, you just have heard of him

But the bigger name gets me food due to book sales. So I like it!
