First Grade:
Teacher "You'll need cursive for every grade past grade 4. They will throw your assignment away if it's written in print."

High School:
Me: "Does anyone know how to write in cursive?"
Teacher: "I know my first name and a capital G..."

Not breaking anything becomes difficult in high school/college

To anyone still in middle/high school who happens to be reading this, college is easy as **** . You just need to study something you know you're interested in, and you won't even mind doing work for it. I'm studying game design, and my home work this semester consisted of making a level in Unity. It's easy to get an A+ when your homework isn't to read some ****** old as **** book that has been redone so much in modern media that you already get the gist before knowing the title.

> implying all colleges have the same learning structure
> implying "Game Design" is a good representation of all college classes as a whole
> implying you no longer have to read " ****** old as **** " books in college
> implying everyone struggles with school the same way

More like:
High School: tell you its a lot harder in college.
College: tell you its easy to find a job with the degree you'll earn in the easy as **** classes.
Real world: working at Target or Mcdonalds with a bachelors degree in whatever.

Are desk jobs really the norm? I could never imagine having to sit behind a desk all day.

Based on your name, I don't think I'd want to get on your plane anytime soon.

I don't need a college degree where I will be working.
Starting salary for a Police Officer in the LAPD is 47K, goes to 52K after a year. If you have a Bachelor's degree though, starting salary is 83K.
What does FJ think? Should I go to college? I scored a 15 on my ACT.
User avatar #158 to #131 - ahjay (05/17/2013) [-]
Well, I got a 23 on my ACT (got my score back). It's out of a 36 so.. a 15 out of 36? Doesn't look too good. Unless you plan on taking it again and attempt to score higher.
Up to you bro.
