i believe that Nirvana are one of the most overrated bands, they may have popularized grunge but it hasn't exactly gone anywhere and i wonder how many people would listen to their music today if he hadn't died

remember overrated ≠ bad

Personally I have a lot of nostalgia for smells like teen spirit.
Now I would bet my right arm that it was one of songs featured in fifa 98 but seams I've gone crazy as apparently that wasn't the case in any fifa so far.

**** it, still this game introduced me to the rock genre and shaped my childhood. I feel happy

It's like going to an art museum where people stand in front of popular artists works and are all 'yeah, i like this' when it can be the most unbalanced piece ever in terms of color and weight. Social bias.. But they do have a nice sound to them which i occasionally enjoy

I disagree. If you only listen to "Smells Like Teen Spirit", then yeah, Nirvana is overrated. But if you listen to the rest of their albums, you can tell that they really put a lot of soul into their music--even if it's simplistic. To me, "soul" is that abstract but crucial element that really separates good music from the bad--even in "less popular" genres like pop or rap.

I think they're overrated and bad. Only semi-talented member of the band was Dave Grohl.

I happen to like Nirvana and have since before he died and I respect your opinion. Now, having said that I would have to argue with your point that Dave Grohl is semi-talented. Are you aware of all the instruments he can play? And he plays them pretty well too or at least in my opinion he does.

I respectfully disagree with your opinion but referring to Dave Grohl as semi-talented is like saying OP "kinda likes dicks in his mouth"

He's never done anything groundbreaking or exceptional. He's good, but not amazing.
