I hate Nirvana and Kurt Cobain. And yeah **** Queen too. By listening to them, you are not better than the whores who just listen to charts music all the time. Try to find something NEW, it's getting on my nerves.

I have yet to meet even one person who listens to Queen (can´t say it about Nirvana, not a big fan of them) who refuses to listen to modern music, too. Most of my friends who are Queen-Fans have a broad taste of music including old music and new music. I haven´t even met someone on the Internet who completely refuses to listen to new Bands and only stays with the old ones.

Every time I see a post with Morgan Freeman, I always end up reading it in his voice.

Of course I'm better than "the whores who just listen to charts music all the time"; I'm flawless.

It's not about what's on the charts or not. Most Nirvana sure as hell isn't. We also have songs like Hotel California and albums like Dark Side of the Moon there because it's good, not because it's trendy or anything like that.
Now make like a banana and kill yourself

One could listen to Queen, Nirvana and all the other ******* music as well.
Actually, many people do that. Think about it.

>implying listening to certain types of music makes you a better person.

Honestly, why do you care what type of music other people listen to? Are you afraid of second hand hearing songs you don't like?
Such a tragic life you must have, huh.

I'm not an Atheist to be a ******* fan boy you daft cock muncher. I'm an Atheist because I have sat down and looked at the evidence of what science shows and the lack of evidence religion shows. Don’t think being an Atheist is some fun band wagon to just jump on, most Atheists are people like me who have sat down and given the topic a lot of thought and have come to a conclusion where we have found that religion just doesn’t make sense, not because it’s the “in thing” or the “ants pants”.

Also, inform me as to what your personal belief system is and explain how it is makes you any less of a "fanboy" than Christians or Atheists.

Well I'm only not skeptical against ONE fact, which is always being skeptical is right. People should get perspectives for every point of view they have. If you just like things or do thing because you're being told so, you're either lazy or a coward.

Explain to me how Christians and Atheists are "fanboys"?
They're belief systems (or lack thereof).

Nirvana was the first grunge band i ever listened to, probably the first 90's band i really listened to. Through Nirvana i found tons of new bands Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, Dinosaur Jr, Modest mouse, Pixies, Mudhoney... thanks to Nirvana. Theres a difference between having a crowd follow a band for the style and genuinely enjoying their music

Nirvana were my 90s alternative gateway band. They led me onto great things: Soundgarden, Sonic Youth, Radiohead, Smashing Pumpkins. It's gorgeous and I understand why people may get pissed at people idolizing Kurt, but if they didn't, I'd probably not have been Nirvana-curious. Now full blown addict.
