That's the gamecube's older brother that taught it how to shoot and hunt. I know, I watched my 64 teach my gamecube. It was beautiful.

It's a Gameboy Micro.

A very tiny little device which was released one year after the original DS. It had a very short shelf life.

It was a pretty nifty little thing that featured interchangeable face plates, and light controls that you adjusted by holding L and tapping the volume switch.

Now a days I pretty much only use it to play Wario Land 4.

I love the back lit screen on it. It's much, MUCH better than the front lit screens that you see in a lot on Nintendo handhelds.

I STILL occasionally do re-runs of Metroid Prime or Metroid Prime 2. Too bad I'm not a kid anymore though, it was so much funner when I couldn't figure out the puzzles really easily and wasn't as good at the shooting.

Buy one. It's still awesome to play games like Smash and Double Dash with friends. It's ok for solo play, but if you buy it, you would get more fun playing with friends on it, than on any other console.

Also if you can track down Gamecube component cables, the gamecube encoder chip is actually better than the Wii's so gamecubes have a better Picture Quality over the Wii's in component mode.
