it's very impressive how detailed these drawings are but I hate these drawings. The artists have the skill to draw ultra realistically and all they do is copy photos of celebrities.
Why not draw something unbelievable and make people question themselves?

I love realism drawings though. It's a matter of ability when it comes to it (drawing photo-realistic drawings that is).

It's a type of art, ****** .
Sometimes art is mindless.
Sometimes it is surreal.
Sometimes it is an emotional release.
Sometimes it is practice.
Sometimes it is forced.
However, in any form, it is art. You cannot simply damn a certain type of art as having to creativity since people don't question themselves.

I don't damn it, I never said it had no creativity either, I was stating why I found it frustrating that copying photos is what they've decided to do with their incredible skill. However, thephantur in comment 51 gave me the link to a drawing by the same artist of a werewolf which is ******* awesome so I'm still wrong

"draw something unbelievable"

it would be nearly impossible to make something completely up from your head and draw it like this. They do these photos by basing them off of real pictures, which would allow them to focus on every minute detail

Realist artists have no creativity. That's why they're realists.

Are you ******* serious? To be an artist is to have great creativity. Sounds like a little jealousy is bubbling to the surface to me.

He just said a REALIST artist. Not a typical artist

"To be an artist."
That was a blanket term, including "REALIST artists."
Art is art. You guys are retarded.
