It's pretty pointless when there are so many bodyweight workouts you can do instead for free, which also train balance extremely well.
I started with pushups and regular situps, now I walk around on my hands doing handstand pushups here and there. Haven't paid a penny and I stay fit, it's not that hard.

psst, op, don´t make /fit/ angry

But on a serious note, I can understand why I should pay for going to the fitness-studio, the right equipment makes it way, way easier to get fit, but they really charge way too much. I actually want to do something for my body again, but I´d have to pay 1/5th of my monthly money for a studio, it´s just not possible.

Honestly if you're starting, you really don't need equipment.

Just search bodyweight workout and you're good to go.

I know, I had the body of a young god some years ago... but now I´m way, way too lazy to restart training, sadly.

Naaah. Motivation is my biggest problem, I can´t even work hard for my most important goals in life...and marathons have never been my thing, I´ve been into martial arts and riding back when I did sports.

Thanks, same to you!
