Primus is what I'm on at the moment actually funnily enough, just been playing john the fisherman, power mad, and trying to find tabs for moron tv.

Les is my bass crush

Also, if your into **** at all, mr pink by level 42 is great fun, only been learning the bit after the intro solo, but that's been enough work.

seen the primus one a million times already, and that mr pink solo is just awesome, though I'm more into metal
for example, I'd rather play this www.youtube.com/watch?v=22W38jJk81s
than this www.youtube.com/watch?v=ztk1V4utYdA

Ibanez Gio. (Not my picture)
But Mudvayne's Ryan Martinie does slap. He has a really cool style IMO. Sick Puppies has some slap, So does Rage Against The Machine, Flea and Fieldy of course, Coal Chamber (A lot like Korn), Suicidal Tendencies and Infectious Grooves.

All are welcome, music is music (Cpt. Obvious), and all who play it have something in common.

Your style, I like it.

Been debating whether or not to get a fretless sometime, tried a friend's rickenbacker once and was just one of "those" basses, but fretlesses just seem a bit scary.

It takes a bit of getting used to, I did the conversion my self which was kind of a mistake, it gets the job done but a professional conversion would have been better. I would recommend starting on one of those $200 squire jazz fretless things.
