No offence guy but it was Rene Descartes who said it, not Socrates. Again I apologize, as this was probably not the whole point of the joke but rather a look in our society's perspective from the eyes of a young child who are so fragile and innocent like the flowers and....I drifted off again, didn't I? Oh well, sorry again mate.

Thanks for the correction. I will admit I simply forgot who said it. In philosophy I paid more attention to the actual thought processes... more of how one gets from A to B and less to who got from A to B first. Not that I dont think that important, their culture and societal standing greatly impacted and shaped their work. But names can sometimes just be a bitch to remember.

BTW: Descartes never actually said this phrase in his famous book "meditations", from which it is cited the most time from though.
