This reminds me of a story:   
The other day I was at a WWII USO dance (I was the drummer for the band), and they played the trumpet thing called "Taps" to honor fallen soldiers. My buddy leans in and whispers "PRESENTING THE KRABBY PATTY!" and I could BARELY contain my laughter.    
   
Does that make me an asshole?

I must still say, I didn't laugh out loud during the silence, and I don't find the fact that people died funny. But what my friend said was funny because it was horrible.
