I think it's mostly due to the Soviet regime who didn't allow freedom of religion and gave a lot of anti-religious propaganda which is why they don't believe in God or any other religion. Although I could be wrong.

As an Estonian, I much cherish this glorious day until I die!
Or forget about it as soon as new **** reaches the front page

But really, it's a country of free WiFi, cheap booze, heavy drinking, stone-hearted but mostly pretty ladies, freedom of speech, and no religious crazy people - sounds absolutely fine :)

I honestly couldn't care less what other people believe so long as they aren't harming others with their beliefs, and they don't try to stop me from believing.

I actually researched something like this. Countries which were mostly atheist and if a lack of religiousness relates to your IQ. Interesting stuff.

While I find this interesting I think it's dangerous to generalise about something like this. First, remember that correlation does not equal causation. Certain social backgrounds might lead to people being more religious and at the same time lead to a lower intelligence for some reason. Religion is not necessarily the direct cause.
Secondly, IQ can only be used as a rough indicator of cognitive capabilities, and often the score will vary according to whether the person is used to making logical assignments, is tired, is unfocused. All sorts of factors. Religious people might not be employed in scientific fields as much, and therefore score lower on an IQ test due lack of "training" rather than lack of actual intelligence.
Drawing a direct line like this is a bit arrogant.

Anyway I'm non-religious, agnostic, myself and have above average intelligence as far as I know, so not trying to defend myself here. Just making a point.
I'll thumb you up because I don't think you should be thumbed down for posting an article.
