LucasArts hasn't made a game that wasn't ****** in years with the exception of The Force Unleashed, and corrupt as they may be, at least EA knows how to publish some damn good games. People crying over LucasArts being shut down seem to forget that their last Star Wars releases were Angry Birds: Star Wars and a Kinect game with a dance mode.

lol kinect had so much potential, it could have been really ******* awesome and made fps like a sort of virtual reality. instead we are stuck with this **** .

I think the fact of the matter is that the Kinect simply isn't a good enough device to do what they were trying to do. Dance mode aside, the story with lightsabers and what not could have been pretty great if it had worked as they'd expected.

no see im talking about before it was made, looking up project netal or whatever, it seemed so revolutionary, and the accuracy looked much better than it is now. but i guess they dumbed it down. or maybe it just seemed revolutionary to me back then.

Plus, BioWare, Dice and Visceral know what they're doing, all they have to do is keep EA from interfering as much as possible, and just let them be a publisher, having no real say in how the game's made

It's a long shot, but plausible... Maybe.

If they were clever, EA would use this opportunity to start fixing relations with consumers. With this all they will have to do is release a decent Star Wars game and not mess around with things such as micro-transactions and people will probably hate them a little less.
Also, with the devs that you have mentioned there will be at least one decent Star Wars game published out of the 5 that are planned to be made. Seeing as all the devs under EA use the Frostbite engine, the games should be great visually (or at least they should be).
Personally, I'm looking forward to what EA will have to offer. I'm also praying they don't **** this up.

Exactly, there were three major games planned, 1313, Battlefront III, and Frontal Assault, 1313 is story driven, which is BioWare's speciality, Battlefront is near enough all multiplayer, and who does fantastic multiplayer? Oh look! Dice! And Visceral... Well, they're only really known for Dead Space, so they could at least make Frontal Assault scary-ish? Right?

I haven't heard much about Frontal Assault and I haven't played Dead Space so I have no idea what Visceral are capable of, but I'd be interested to see what the outcome is nonetheless.

Also, I forgot to log in last time
