Deep words of a dentist

My dentist once told me that letting
go is like pulling a tooth. When it was
pulled out, you’ re relieved, but how
many times does your tongue run
itself over the spot where the teeth
once was? Probably a hundred times
a day. Just because it was not
hurting you doesn' t mean you did not
notice it. leaves a gap and
sometimes you see yourself missing
it terribly. It' s going to take a while,
but it takes time. Should you have
kept the tooth? No, because it was
causing you so much pain,
Therefore, move on and let go.
This is the best thing I' ever read, really

I really like when people highlight the important bits because otherwise I wouldn't have the attention span to read the whole thing.
That was not sarcasm

For me it's been more of an infectious disease and I had to amputate my right hand (right handed) in order to survive.... but that makes sense too

The Sentients of the world have as varied a reaction to the concept of Death as they do to the statement “The Party is Over,” and for approximately the same reasons.

The vast majority feel annoyance. They’re having a good time. There are still things to ingest, things to experience and sentients who are no doubt just waiting to hear them explain just how very smart they were when they bought into geothermal engineering in 417.

A smaller, but still surprisingly large number are just as glad it’s all over. The drinks were flat, they never got to do their balancing-a-waffle-iron-on-the-nose trick, and if they have to listen to this moron talk about geothermal engineering for one second more, their heads will explode.

Another segment is just never able to wrap its head around the idea. People come and go, certainly, but where and how are really none of their business, and while it might be troubling that they are running out of people to talk to, they will continue to chatter on (to the hatrack, if they must) until they are forcibly thrown out.

Damn, I literally just ended a relationship of a year+ today. I can't believe how ******* hard this hits home. I don't usually ask for advice, and this cleared things up. I dated this girl knowing she was capable of cheating as I was the main cause for her to break up with her fiance of years. Karma is a bitch, but it's definitely nice knowing that I made the right decision in the end.

I've gotten two teeth pulled, and I don't miss either of them. They caused me ********* of pain for about two weeks. Also, I can store a pencil in my mouth when I'm bored.

But, no matter how much you try, that spot will never be filled, that spot will always be vacant, empty, you will never have another wisdom tooth.
