I have never met a home schooled kid who wasn't a social retard or something. Granted I've only known about 6, but the ones who went to public high school later invariably got shat on in even the easiest classes, unless their parents were professors at the university in town.

Being homeschooled and having several friends. I can agree to this.

Plus I can go to school in my boxers.

I was homeschooled from 4th grade until I graduated. I went to several different classes and special homeschool events where I met ********* of different people of all ages. There's a right way to homeschool and a wrong way. Keeping your child locked away at home 90% of the time is going to make them socially awkward and introverted. Quite often, my mother would just say "field trip" and she'd me and my brother to random museums and other educational places. I spent an entire day at a alternative energy fair when I was 15.

I originally went to a private christian school, and my parents had some weird fear of public school. If I had stayed at the private school, I'd be what all my former classmates have turned into. Brainless jesus freaky retards who barely know their ass from a hole in the ground. Homeschooling made me the person I am today, and I'm damn thankful for it.

I met most of my friends through school. I'd much rather have public school than be home schooled.

I was homeschooled k-12, and I was lucky to be involved in a co-op with nationally competitive forensics and sports teams, student council, proms and homecomings that DIDN'T suck (we have the ones that suck too), etc. and I got a damn good education AND a social life. I definitely plan on homeschooling my kids (translation: making my wife homeschool my kids) someday, but if I hadn't had such a huge homeschooling community in my city (Springfield, MO), then it would have completely ****** me over. The only down side of homeschooling is the kids who never get to leave the house and aren't plugged into a community of real-life people.

My roommate was home schooled. I asked him to describe it in one word.
He said " ************** !"
Apparently if there are hyphens it's considered one word
