california should be mixture of earth and fire bending. what with the constant fires here (like the one that damn near burned my house down last week) and earthquakes...

You're fine. There have been so many large fires way too close to my town... We've almost had to evacuate, but the wind currents here usually keep the fires spreading away  from us.

Also, fire fighters move in from our side to set up barriers and 'gaps' that the fire is unable to spread past.
