Anybody finish children of dune? I got about halfway through it but after the two previous books I just couldn't take the writing style anymore. The story was great, but goddamn those books were hard to read.

If you think Children of Dune was hard to read (how???), then maybe you shouldn't even try to pick up God-Emperor of Dune.

I read the entire series (from Dune to Chapterhouse Dune) about 7 or 8 times, and I still feel the need to read God-Emperor again.

There is another book after Chapterhouse. And Herbert's son released prequel books.

All books after Chapterhouse (there are 2 sequels and I've lost track how many prequels) are written by his son, Brian Herbert, in collaboration with Kevin J. Anderson, based on what sketches Frank Herbert left.

None, but I read the plot summary and I don't intend to read them.
Not very interested in what Brian Herbert wrote.
