I remember my first time in a mosh pit. Some dick punched me in the face, and I fell down. Someone helped me back up just in time to catch sight of the dick getting the **** beaten out of him and getting pushed out of the circle.
I've had a new respect for the genre and those who enjoy it ever since.

Why the **** of all nations in the world, the one which language is norm, the one who is most present on the internet, it's USA who can't ******* figure heights and lenghts in cm.
If there was just a bit of good will among the younger generation to adept....

It has nothing to do with the younger generation. Every street sign, every instruction pamphlet, every measurement in America is represented by our non-metric ****** system. If the younger generation would choose to only learn metric, they would have to move to a different country because there would be absolutely no practical use for it in American society. It would take years of legislative work, and probably decades of displaying both measurements on everything to ween us off our system, not just a bunch of kids deciding, "Hey! Let's buck the system and learn metric! That will teach those old pricks who are using the same system that's been around for centuries!"

no body really uses cm for a quick representation of height. rarely do i hear anyone say "im 170 cm" and if i do i ask how tall is that in feet. its easier, for me atleast, to hear "im 5' 7" "

btw im canada

Well, in the rest of the world, that would be outside North America everyone uses the metric system. Noone ever uses feet in Sweden or the rest of Europe, or Asia for that matter. The only countries where the imperial system is still used in are english speaking countries.
Not trying to start some war here or say which of them is the better but you kind of made it sound like USA and Canada were the only countries in the world...

It's true that they do that, the point of a mosh pit is to have fun, and when some ******* decides to take it seriously, he's screwed.
