It's like that story of a guy who bought very expensive cigares, insured them against fire, smoked them, got money from insurance company by stating they were lost in fire (court approved of that), got money, insurance company sued back for arson and got 10 times more than they he got in previous suit.

Robert Rauschenberg once took an extremely expensive pencil drawing from Willem de Kooning, erased it completely and exhibited the now blank paper again as his own. He called it "Erased de Kooning Drawing".

he actually made a lot of those cansĀ“s. five of them are still in museums today. the reason they are inside a glass cabinet is because some of them exploded. he made them as a way to express his hate to the art world, because it changed to be more about money than about the art.

More proof that modern art--isn't.

that's considered art? **** ? i guess the artist was making a statement about the art museum's taste in art. pretty ******

He actually made a lot of **** cans, this is just one of them. Once in a while one will produce enough gas in its decay that the can will rupture, and then the rest of the cans go up in value because there are fewer left. Logic is dead
