I imagine one of the hardest transitions of a sex change is having to start shaving your legs all the god damn time. On a side-note, I bet her/his butt is rather hairy...

Shaving the legs really isn't that hard. It takes a couple months to get it down right without feeling like your going to hurt yourself, but after that it just becomes as easy a habit as shaving your face for guys ( I guess), just a different part of the body. For me it only takes a couple minutes total in the shower and is one of the most relaxing parts of showering

As a fellow woman, I must protest that shaving my legs is simply a pain. I guess I just nicked my ankles one too many times while I was learning. It conditioned me to hate it with a burning passion.

Ouch. I know once I accidentally pressed too hard and took off a line of skin from the top of my foot to my knee. Pretty much put me in shock. But once that healed I went right back to it. I don't know its something about feeling the steam and making my legs feel nice and soft. Its kinda like a massage for me. Maybe you could try exfoliating before hand to make it more spa-like

s/he is on estrogen treatment which will be taking over the testosterone that is naturally occurring in his/her body thus making hair growth that males experience all over to not grow..

Women still grow body hair though, and any hair he had before the treatment wouldn't simply fall off. At some point, he would have had to experience a series of waxing treatments to get rid of excessive arm, chest, back and butt hair...
