Fan made but endorsed by the great Bill Waterson himself. Look at the signature on the side

Because expressing like for something makes it written by him

Why don't you go watch some Dragonball GT

In a perfect world, no body will get rid of their childhood friend. I still have my teddy bear, it's missing an eye but I still have it.

Is that not common practice for stuffed animals in your family?

Poor you.
I assumed it was common practice.
I am beginning to think my family is rather alone in letting babies play with toys older than their grandparents.

I own a huge book of calvin and hobbes. HUGE. Evrey strip from cover to back, Ive read every strip at least twice. It ended on such a beautiful innocent note. A "We'll be best friends forever note." So they sled into the distance with a good bye to their readers. 26 years later there was still Hobbes, and the fact that he kept him all those years give me a feel...

TLDR; I CRIE EVER TIM

Thats not how it ends
Yes its about sledding, but the wording is this,

*Walking through the snow with a sled*
Calvin: Wow, it really snowed last night! Isnt it wonderful?
*Stop to talk*
Hobbes: Everything familiar has disappeared! The world looks brand new!
Calvin: A new fresh year... A clean fresh start!
Hobbes: Its like having a big white sheet of paper to draw on!
Calvin: A day full of possibilities!
*Prepare to push off on the slide*
Calvin: Its a magical world, Hobbes, ol' buddy...
*sliding off into the trees*
Calvin: ...Lets go exploring!
