Does no one realize the design potential for this? Could you imagine playing this on ps3 or xbox 360 online. Trading pokemon with your friends. battling them. even though they are 100's of miles away. what if they implement new things. Like create your own gym. where you can gather a group of the same type pokemon and battle as a gym leader. expand upon the world make it bigger with more places to explore. Slowly introducing the new lands and pokemon. I mean seriously. with online capabilities. Who knows what this game can become. Also imagine letting the users get ahold of the dev tools and allow them to make Caves and buildings in which you battle your way to the top for team rocket and such.

too bad most of the people who would want this would be using xbox playstation or pc so they wouldn't be able to sell it on the superior systems. Nintendo could definitely sell many copies of this potential game but they wont release anything for other systems even though they would sell millions of copies

it wont happen because the big names of Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo will never put their big boy pants on and team up rather than compete.

Well first off it's going to have to be a Nintendo console, that's how it works with Pokémon games.

Then we have to consider, are the current Nintendo consoles (Wii U and 3DS) powerful enough? Not really, they're great but as they don't focus on power they will struggle with that sort of graphics. So we have to develop a new console.

Now this is clearly beyond any graphics Nintendo has done before, and I doubt they're going to look outside the usual circle for someone to produce these graphics. So now we need a new graphics engine.

And now the important part. Will enough people buy the game to make it worth while? I loved Pokémon Battle Revolution, but despite it's potential it never really made much of a splash. This wouldn't be too much of a problem usually, but this is Nintendo - a company who will push the limits on a console but are scared of doing the same with a successful game series.

I love the ideas you've come up with, but I don't see it actually happening. Maybe on a low end graphics engine (allowing it to potentially be a part of "X & Y" on the 3DS), but not at this scale.

Just my thoughts, so try not to be too pissed. The personalisation aspect has been requested time and time again, but it would be a bit of a stretch for them to release a game where that is its main focus before even giving it a test run (like small features on a main series game).

WIIU not powerful enough?
REALLY?
The picture aboves graphics aren't that bad. That could probably work on a Wii or even an Ipad. The only thing about the top picture is the terrain that looks slighty well.

As far as making money goes, I think if Nintendo marketed it as Gen 7, it'd do fine.
