Are you kidding? That's the new razer laptop. Razer, With a balanced price to power ratio, the only thing casual about it is how you'll be lounging around on the couch murdering everything around you in the game of your choosing.

laptops suck balls, they age fast and are brittle as hell, most parts arent replacable and it cant fan out the heat properly

"balanced price to power ratio" it costs $2500 and has a 660m

lenovo y500 with dual gt750m $1500
asus g75 with gtx670m $1400

you pay $1000 for a fancy keyboard and brand name.

and the fact that it is thinner than a macbook air. but for real, **** razer products completely. completely crap of the lowest quality.
User avatar #82 to #2 - xenophaigus (05/05/2013) [-]
Haha, I have the asus

I've loved that design since they started using it. my tech class teacher had the g73 with the i7, 16gb ram, & 2 250gb ssd pretty friggin sweet.

but i like that the y500 can switch out the second gpu for a disc drive or fan. but the real dilemma is whether to save for the laptop or a gtx680.

The more cost effiecient method is to get the desktop. It's approx. $900 and has all the same capabilites as the laptop model. I just jchoose the laptop cause I dont have anyplace to put the desktop.
User avatar #115 to #110 - CatHatMan (05/05/2013) [-]
yep i've put in about 900 on this desktop and it still does games pretty well except dayZ. I want to get a new laptop though since mine has a broken screen and it costs $150 just for the screen.
User avatar #116 to #115 - xenophaigus (05/05/2013) [-]
Yea... I', gonna have to get my screen replaced and Ive only had this laptop for 3 months. I dropped my headphones on it about 3 days after buying it and left a huge scuff(about 3 mm wide by 12 cm long) right in the middle of my screen. It's somewhat easy to see past but... For pete's sake I only had the damn thing for 3 days before it happened.

well it's even worse for me. it's an 08' macbook pro i got for helping a guy do an engine swap all i wanted was something i could learn how to use osx with. then like 2 weeks the screen broke.

more like the iMac of gaming PC laptops.
User avatar #78 to #70 - CatHatMan (05/05/2013) [-]
it's pricing and specs are shockingly similar to some of the macbook pros.

i think you could compare it to the lexus LFA

Jahwol! I have a G75V, so it cost a little extra with the 3D screen and such, but very happy with it! :D
User avatar #58 to #43 - byodensbeard (05/05/2013) [-]

#499 to #58 - beloved ONLINE (05/05/2013) [-]

i have no idea what any of that means. what's m? also, alienware, yay or nay and why?
#61 to #13 - anonymous (05/05/2013) [-]
alienware is waste of money with a fancy case. Same with razer and macs
User avatar #18 to #13 - nerolord (05/04/2013) [-]
m generally means its mobile, for a laptop. Alienware is looks cool but is over priced

There really needs to be a sarcasm font.
User avatar #6 to #3 - apokalyptonaut (05/04/2013) [-]
I think that putting random Italics in words looks pretty sarcastic
User avatar #4 to #3 - CatHatMan (05/04/2013) [-]
agreed.

trust your instincts, make the sarcasm font then patent it and sell it to apple.
User avatar #5 to #4 - carnivoreapples (05/04/2013) [-]
nah, apple'll claim it theirselves anyways
