I can vouch for that last one. Im in astronomy class at my high school and my teacher said every year that 75% of kids get this question wrong on the test: "How many stars are there in our solar system?" i laughed at first because i thought it was a joke but then the kid next to me asked me if there was 2. He was being completely serious. We've been in the class for months....and not to mention thats just common knowledge. mfw

the last one isn't even true, most people know the sun is a star.
Of course there are the stoners that don't pay attention, but most people know.

What would the other star in our solar system be? Sorry, I don't expect an answer because you aren't that kid, but I cant help but wonder what was going on in his head.

Probably Pluto. Isn't a dwarf star now that it isn't a planet anymore?

I thought it was a considered a dwarf planet

I honestly thought it wasn't considered a planet at all. I thought it was a dwarf star.

Just looked it up. You're right.

On a side note, I've been seeing you around plenty lately, ever since you commented on a comment of mine. You appear to be quite active.

I was gonna try and come up with some creative excuse, but what the hell, I have no life. After classes I really don't have anything to do in the day.

I used to be far more active, but my classes eat up plenty of my time. Heck, I was close to getting the top comment spot at one point (I was at #176, and climbing about 5-10 spots every few days), but then I just stopped coming for no reason.

Well, as an undeclared freshman, I'm really just taking easy core classes that don't take up too much time. I'm sure when I declare a major and actually get more specific classes I'll have a lot less time and be a lot less active here.

Speaking from experience, if you enjoy the sciences, I recommend a Chemistry/Biology major if you want something to challenge the mind.

Yeah, I'm not too into science. I have been thinking of graphic design or animation or something along those lines though.
