Waaah, that's awesome! I'm glad you've found a job that makes you happy, that's really rare and special. I'm working towards my dream job (still in the baby steps), hopefully it'll be what I think it'll be.

I'm training to be a prosthetics/special effects makeup artist ^.^ I've read a lot of online guides involving a lot of reality checks, so I've been cautious about being too optimistic, but hopefully I'll be able to make it because it seems really fun and interesting. Plus gore is really cool! I love the idea of just artificially creating an injury. Pain-free injury.
Apparently I have to get good at what I like to call 'pretty makeup' (which can be pretty fun in it's own way but it's a lot less forgiving, mistakes-wise) and hair (something I don't have a lot of practice in because unsurprisingly not a lot of people are willing to let me even just trim their hair, even though I'm maybe decent-ish). So, I guess it's something I have to study full time, with all of these as part of the course. There's a lot of research you have to do into which courses are the best.
Studying a degree at the moment though, just need to get through that and then I can start dedicating most of my time to it (instead of just doing evening classes and online tutorials). Woo.

Apologies for the ramble, my brain is a bit overtired and less able to see where the acceptable limits of conversation are, plus I get a little too excited when given the opportunity to talk about it.

My dream job is to be an astronaut, I was optimistic but yeah...dreams were crushed today. Still not looking completely looking away, but I'll pursue something similar. I still don't know what though.

I heard you can still technically be an astronaut even if you don't go into space (don't take my word for it though). Keep trying, though! Look at your other options and develop your strengths, but determination is something you should keep in mind.
