We almost did win? the Tet offensive was a last ditch effort which failed, it just shocked the American populace so much they demanded we pull out we lost the war in the Media not the actual fighting

that wasn't the main problem though(well from stuff i read). the problem was America(citizens) was totally against the war. They showed the Vietnam war on television with no censorship.after people saw what was truly happening, massive movements against the War pretty much undermined the entire thing, on top of that people in those protests were killed....that war was just...well ****** up. i wouldn't say we lost to them but we kind of beat ourselves.
