Online currency, most profoundly used on the silk road. As they have no national country, they are pretty lawless and can't be taxed. For this reason, they're growing in popularity. However, they have a notorious nature for being very volatile. There is a recurring trend where the value of the bitcoin against the dollar exponentially increases, before plummeting.

They don't really have much use, to be honest.

that's a mBTC, less than a single bitcoin.

mBTC = millibitcoin =1 thousandth of a bitcoin= 0.001BTC= ~0.00552 USD

I don't know how many you get total, but I'm assuming it's 10. To get 10 of them you'd have to stay there 150 minutes.

10 mBTC's is ~0.0552 USD congrats, you made 5 cents off of 2.5 hours of standing out. It's not a scam, it's just not as lucrative as you think it would be. Key part here is 'referrals'. To get more you have to have more people on the place and you get more 'money' as they do. That's why he's posting here. It'd still take 1000 collections to make a single bit coin. And if you have to wait fifteen minutes in between it's going to take you a total of ~250 hours.

Even if a whole bitcoin is 100+ dollars you're still making a pretty ****** gain rate of 2.5$ an hour.

The reason the Casino even does this is because.. well.. watcha gonna do while waiting for them bitcoins? Play their games. The more people play the more they profit.

this isnt free, you get fake bitcoins to try out the server and when you run out type /refill and you get 5 fake btc, so hush.

But you can get free bitcoins from a lot of places, stupidly low amounts, i've been mining for 2 weeks and got 0.04 which is low, so don't expect to get rich from free btc.

But it's a great casino server, the minesweeper is really fun.

oh, I'm not saying they're a good investment... nor would I play on the MC server to generate them (I'm fairly sure the game is exploiting java to mine coins on your PC for the server host, and giving you a microscopic portion in return)

I'm only saying that if you want to acquire illegal things, it's the only/best way to do it online... Buy them cheap, and either wait for their value to rise or use them immediately for their worth

Oh I agree,dev a good way to get illegal things. But I wouldnt invest in them like some people do. ****,ive heard horror stories of people investing entire life savings into them,just to watch them fizzle away.

Well I'm Australian and International sellers won't sell to us over silkroad now because the "product" doesn't get into the country often enough... so there's yet another way of loosing it all with bitcoins

Internet currency that has no set standard so its like at one second one coin can be worth two dollars then plummet to 1 cent. and like the other guy said its for buying things without a traceable link to you so people use it in deep space

they're probably making you mine for their pool through minecraft and you get a small percentage back...
you're better off mining on your own in a pool.
