that's a mBTC, less than a single bitcoin.

mBTC = millibitcoin =1 thousandth of a bitcoin= 0.001BTC= ~0.00552 USD

I don't know how many you get total, but I'm assuming it's 10. To get 10 of them you'd have to stay there 150 minutes.

10 mBTC's is ~0.0552 USD congrats, you made 5 cents off of 2.5 hours of standing out. It's not a scam, it's just not as lucrative as you think it would be. Key part here is 'referrals'. To get more you have to have more people on the place and you get more 'money' as they do. That's why he's posting here. It'd still take 1000 collections to make a single bit coin. And if you have to wait fifteen minutes in between it's going to take you a total of ~250 hours.

Even if a whole bitcoin is 100+ dollars you're still making a pretty ****** gain rate of 2.5$ an hour.

this isnt free, you get fake bitcoins to try out the server and when you run out type /refill and you get 5 fake btc, so hush.

But you can get free bitcoins from a lot of places, stupidly low amounts, i've been mining for 2 weeks and got 0.04 which is low, so don't expect to get rich from free btc.

But it's a great casino server, the minesweeper is really fun.

Aren't bitcoins valued over 100 dollars? Wth? I read somewhere that some guy bought a Porshe for 300 bitcoins... I really don't get the concept completely... Anyone care to explain why money should be replaced by bitcoins? Should I start grinding this.. It might seem like a good thing to do... Who knows where this is going to go...

Bitcoins' value are determined by the free market (absolute supply and demand) as a result, they are more prone to instability, but if the free market makes them valuable, they are therefore valuable. With most major regulated currencies being either insanely inflated, or preparing for a crash, bitcoin is actually more stable than they are if you look at the long term. In the end when there are no more bitcoins left to mine (approximated to be in the year 2140), then you may have a concern, but there are already alternate crypto-currencies that are starting up to take it's place when it has finished it's run.

BC are far too unstable for me to take as a serious currency.

Internet currency that has no set standard so its like at one second one coin can be worth two dollars then plummet to 1 cent. and like the other guy said its for buying things without a traceable link to you so people use it in deep space

they're probably making you mine for their pool through minecraft and you get a small percentage back...
you're better off mining on your own in a pool.
