This is the most common world map I've ever seen, I don't know what everyone else is talking about.

i have never seen a map like this
it's usually USA on the left and asia on the right, cut down the pacific

I'm pretty sure this isn't true. If you google "world map" all the maps are the same, with europe in the center, like it should be.

I live in the USA, im a history major, so i use maps all the ******* time, and ive never once seen a map with america in the center.

Fun fact,

Most maps have England in the center, dating back to when the British Empire was the most powerful in the world. Same reason we use Greenwich time.

Now who is arrogant?

Yeah I'm pretty sure most maps in the U.S. don't split Asia.

There's only two real ways you can put a map without cutting major landmasses up.

With Europe in the middle and cutting the Pacific in half, or the Saudi Arabia in the middle, cutting the Atlantic in half.

Yes, the second option does hit Greenland, but the eskimos don't give a **** .

Or, you could flip the map upside down, and still be right, but **** with everyone's brain.

I live in the US, and all maps are cut in the Pacific.

Most American maps have America on the left. I've literally never heard of a world map being any other way until now.
User avatar #67 - habasparkz (04/23/2013) [-]
Our maps aren't like that. Just saying.

The center of the world map should be Greenwich, England, because that's where the rest of the world sets their time from (GMT/UTC)
