This is how I feel about Christianity; sure they've been raised on the bible and have faith in their god, but...science, y'know? When they disregard proven theories, things proven by Christian scientists, just saying "read the bible" instead...

And I shouldn't hate them for this, but I do.
Also Vegetarians. And people who aren't against gay rights, but homosexuality doesn't sit well with them.

Things that shouldn't bother me, and do, and I hate myself for it.

Like 99% of Christians believe in both Christian teachings and modern science so idk why everyone cares so much

I'm going to have to stop you right there. 40% of americans do not believe evolution occured. 40% of americans is around 130 million people. Not including anyone else from any other countries that are christian and don't accept evolution (of whom there are a great many) that number alone is around 2% of the total population of the earth.

I've literally never met a single Christian who didn't believe in science

I don't mind gay rights, but god forbid I feel uncomfortable when I'm around gay dudes.

I wouldn't say I'm against gays. Just the thought of two guys having sex makes me want to throw up.

And this shouldn't bother me; you have that opinion, and it's not hurting anyone. I wouldn't want ot imagine two old people having sex, either.

I just...I don't understand how any form of romance can be seen as different to another based on sexuality

What's your beef with people who " people who aren't against gay rights, but homosexuality doesn't sit well with them?" I don't agree with homosexuality (actually I don't have a problem with it myself, but I am a Christian and I know that God is against it) but I'm not about to let that influence my belief that gays should have the right to marry. I wouldn't want someone else's religious beliefs to be passed into law, similarly I think it would be wrong to try and support something that would pass mine.

What if the gays aren't Christian? It doesn't matter how God feels then. Because, if you don't believe in the faith, you cannot go to Heaven, but by that logic, nor should you be able to go to hell. Which is alrighty by me, because frankly the idea of living for eternity, in the cloudland or otherwise, terrifies me.
