What makes me angry is when people only looks at humans anatomically and logically but fail to recognize their spiritual and emotional mental side.

Transgenderism is about feeling that your inner gender does not match your outer gender. Yes, there's a difference between your inner and outer gender. Outer gender is your physically appearance and biological sex, inner gender is your spiritual identity, the part of you that makes you you.

And what REALLY rustles my Jimmies is when homophobes try tell transgendered individuals that what they're doing is wrong and disgusting. Far too many times I've seen transgendered friends not transition because of the ignorance of family or friends.

I they aren't hurting anyone why the hell couldn't you just leave them alone and let them be? What kind of pleasure do you receive from labeling someone and oppressing them. Instead of having a cow over their gender, why don't you judge them for what kind of person they are?

The human condition is vast and infinite, you can't label everything someone can be.

Can I just ask then, is there a real difference between fetishes and sexuality?
User avatar #318 to #306 - UberAndrew (04/21/2013) [-]
Not really. Sexuality is just a combination of fetishes.
User avatar #465 to #318 - thechosentroll (04/21/2013) [-]
In that case, my sexual orientation must be "Yes, please.". Atleast, considering my long list of fetishes,
User avatar #328 to #318 - seratyo ONLINE (04/21/2013) [-]
So if fetishes are just sub-sexualities, should we not label fetishes and just accept that certain things get certain people off?
User avatar #330 to #328 - UberAndrew (04/21/2013) [-]
It'd be much better that way, yes.

Labeling sexualites is pretty stupid and pointless. Why can't we just like what we like and move on with life?
User avatar #340 to #330 - seratyo ONLINE (04/21/2013) [-]
But there obviously has to be exceptions to that rule. Cannibalism can be a sexual fetish and we can't just turn a blind eye to people eating each other. Paedophilia is also a fetish but we can't just say "It's OK to **** a five year old". "If it gets you off then that's ok" is an ironically black and white rule.
User avatar #351 to #340 - UberAndrew (04/21/2013) [-]
I think the only rule applied should be "It's okay as long as it doesn't hurt or directly affect the well being of others".

If you want to **** a stump go ahead, you're not hurting anyone.
If you want to **** a child that's a big no. Because you'd be hurting someone.
If you want to have consensual sex with a bunch of midgets, go ahead. They agreed so you're not hurting them.
User avatar #361 to #351 - seratyo ONLINE (04/21/2013) [-]
But doesn't then flaw the rule of no labels, as you are then labeling something as not ok and ok because of the well beings of others. Necrophilia doesn't hurt anybody, is that then ok?
User avatar #371 to #361 - UberAndrew (04/21/2013) [-]
Some things should be labeled, while others shouldn't. If nothing we ever labeled then we'd have no way of communicating.

And regarding necrophilia, I don't have much of an input. I think it's incredibly gross but it's sure a lot better than raping a living a person.
User avatar #375 to #371 - seratyo ONLINE (04/21/2013) [-]
If some things should be labeled, then what is the problem with having labels for other things? There shouldn't really be problem with it if it's just communicating.

Just to clarify, I'm not trying to be malicious or oppresive with these questions.
User avatar #383 to #375 - UberAndrew (04/21/2013) [-]
All in all it doesn't matter too much either way.
It's just sometimes people have such a label complexes that they use labels to alienate people.

So I guess the big problem isn't with labels exactly, it's with people misusing them.
User avatar #398 to #383 - seratyo ONLINE (04/21/2013) [-]
That's fair. It's a pretty complicated subject that at the same isn't really complicated at all.
User avatar #311 to #306 - thatnerdyguy (04/21/2013) [-]
Now that's an interesting question.

Do I really have a trap fetish, or am I just a total faggot?
#278 to #155 - tazze ONLINE (04/21/2013) [-]
you had to step into jimmy territory so now I'm telling you why this issue rustles MY jimmies, kay?

I don't care what people do with surgery, I really ******* don't give a **** but for me, if you were born a guy, no matter how many tits and vaginas you have, you're still a guy to me, what rustles my jimmies is those people who go around, hide the truth and then after months of a relationship they go like "yeah, like... I wasn't always this way..." well **** THEM, have some balls, even if a surgeon chopped them off and tell people the truth right after you meet them.

Well that has to do with trust and honesty more than anything.
I do agree if someone is transgendered or anything of the like they should tell someone at the beginning of a relationship.

You're not expected to understand or even like what other people feel or do, just be tolerant and let them do what they must to be happy. But them withholding that information from would affect your happiness, so they should have the decency to tell you.
#302 to #293 - tazze ONLINE (04/21/2013) [-]
I'm telling you I don't care what they do or whether they feel one way or another, I'm just saying that they can't withhold the information of what they were (and still are, genetically speaking) just because they think people will reject them.

if people reject you because you were born a guy and had sugery to "become a woman", well, TOUGH, ******* , LUCK, but that doesn't give you the right to hide it from people who might become interested in you if you don't tell them.

here's a ******* sketch of what must be done:
>male to female meets straight guy
>straight guy gives signs of interest
>male to female tells about operation and stuff

if(awhellnaw.tiff)
then dealwithit.gif
else if(Imokaywiththat.tga)
then noproblem.jpeg

kay?
User avatar #316 to #302 - UberAndrew (04/21/2013) [-]
If you read what I wrote I was saying you're right. Transgender people SHOULD tell you before hand if there's any hint of interest.

I misinterpreted the second paragraph of your reply, my apologies

By "inner gender" and "outer gender", you mean gender and sex.

Yeah, I was just rephrasing so people who don't already know would have a better time understanding.
