As long as the computer is powered off and is not turned on until completely dry, it should be fine.

except even if the battery is removed and its powered off, there is still small charges going through it at all times(motherboard and processor).

am i lying? how do you think your computer knows what time it is when its been off for the night/day/longer.

Actually no.

Those units are separate RTC chips built into the motherboard. When the power is turned off, the RTC switches off it's access to the external world (beyond receiving power again), and uses it's own closed circuit within the chip to continue the timing. The seal used in these chips is almost always completely airtight.

However, most good motherboards won't completely break even if the RTC chip is broken. But you can bet it'll have some bugs when it comes to timing related tasks.

Well yes, but the current being drawn is small. The effect can be considered negligible.

ya technically this is true for all electronics its not the water that fries them its the electricity flowing where its not supposed to because their wet that fries them if you ever get anything wet that isn't supposed to be just take the battery out and let it dry completely out and it'll be fine

I was never very good at paragraphs either. Was never quite sure at which point the next sentence was unrelated enough to the previous few sentences for it to be separated from them.
