for all of you dont know the awesomeness that took place, some stores have that little mechanism on the cart, so you need to put a coin in to use the cart. the idea is that if you put the cart back in the corral, you can get your coin back. if you leave it out, they get your coin

the little key thats plugged into is next to impossible to plug into itself. I have spent hours of my life trying to plug that little ****** in on itself, and its finally been done :'D

Proud to be American where you don't pay to use a cart

Proud to be educated so I can prove that not all American's are stupid.

From Aldi's website,

"Why do I need a quarter to use a shopping cart at ALDI?

At ALDI, we cut costs every way we can to keep prices low. Our shopping cart deposit system is a good example. You insert a quarter to release a cart. When you return the cart, you get your quarter back. This system cuts down on the labor of collecting carts left in the parking lot, damage to cars, and we pass the savings on to you."

In big supermarkets, in order for them to keep their trolleys, they have a connecter and a string. to keep them together, that string on the left with the red head connects to another trolley and so on,keeping them together. you need to insert a coin to take it out.

Many of us during our childhood have tried to put it the same connector, but it was impossible. i guess its not.
