The plan.. Not saying it isn't tragic, but it's nothing compared to things happening worldwide.. OF 'natini& BUT ' tittie IN , nun was main mums. Every loss of life is tragic, you just can't say that this is nothing compared to worldwide actions. Then why don't we say every one who has been killed since 1 Truth

Every loss of life is tragic, you just can't say that this is nothing compared to worldwide actions. Then why don't we say every one who has been killed since 1950s is nothing compared to WW2. You simply can't say that. The severity of one event does not outweigh the others.

For sure, just tired of hearing about it. With out even talking about the atrocities happening in Africa.
In April as of now, 7 soldiers have died, I didn't hear about them.
What about the countless Vets that are still getting put out on the street because of all the psychiatric budget cuts?
What about the Americans that die of starvation?

There are 7 billion people on this world. I am an EMS in a 2 million country. Today I pulled out a man from the lawnmower truck thingy (I'm sure /b/ would ask for pics) and yet not a single media coverage of the even has been noted. The fact is that there is just too many of us and we really don't want to know about the horrors that exist in the world. Half the things I see would severely impact the average individual and I don't get the worst of it. I know what you meant whit this post. The world is a cruel place and for some reason all we care about is how Kim Kardashian is gaining weight...

Thanks, I still have some faith in humanity, just not much. Not any more but I would like to believe that one individual can make a difference. You sir are a good conversation holder.

I think it's getting this reaction because it was from a "safe" place. People don't like it when you take away places that make them feel safe. This is why school shootings and mall shootings get so much attention and drive bys tend to get ignored.
