You seem to be leaving out the fact that he said computers. Referring to the fact that they used these computers to relay information to the farthest place anyone had ever been before and help with any information that the astronauts would need.

I think theres an app for that, but it comes from EA so the DLC for the other parts is ridiculous, plus the battery would run out half way

here's another thing:

JFK said we'd go to the moon. it took us 6 years to get there after that with no experience.

Obama said it would take 20, with experience and better technology.

This says less about our economical status, as it's doubtful we'll be in the same position in 20 years, and more about our intelligence level. it's largely due to technology that this happens, as technology has become more of a replacement than an addition to our lifestyles. instead of actively trying to get an answer to something, we use a calculator, spell check, or google to get the answer for us.

Like some proof? America- one of the most technologically advanced countries in the world- is nowhere near the top of the list in intelligence (and the top in confidence, breeding the worst kind of employee ever). America is passing laws to allow foreign students in an engineering program to stay permanently (presumably because Americans can't do it.)

It's not all bad though. as a minority, us smart people will be more capable of getting jobs in the states while all the swagfags do the menial tasks we don't want to do.

**** you for taking away from one of mankinds greatest accomplishments.

Not to mention those engines and the capsule were designed with those computers and if not then they had to be done by hand...
User avatar #44 - galaxyguy (04/17/2013) [-]
I'm sure there's an app for that.
