compared to the ****** up **** that the japanese army pulled in that war, i'd honestly say it balances out

there was kind of the fact that we told them HEY, WE'RE GOING TO DO SOME REALLY CRAZY **** IN A SHORT TIME IF YOU DON'T SURRENDER, JUST ******* WARNING YOU

they didn't surrender until after that, and we pretty much rebuilt them afterwords

All the people who say the japanese were scum in the war it may be true but only because of imperialism brought by the west.

Japan doesn't have an army (we disallowed that after WWII), so if any missiles do get shot down it would be from a US military base in Japan

Explain the JSDF then?
User avatar #30 - GrimTheRealReaper (04/15/2013) [-]
Nope. Definitely shouldnt have dropped those bombs. Shoulda just let the war go on for 5 or so more years and got hundreds of thousands of americans and japanese killed. That was the better choice.

**** you.

You're right, America did that with absolutely no reason and were not provoked.

Interesting. I'm stationed in Japan. And no, US Anti-Missile ships are the ones stationed between the US and North Korea.

...

Also, you're retarded.

Hey they started it.

I don't think Japan is allowed to do something like that.

Their self-defence force is strictly self-defense, not "defend Japan and allies" (which they really aren't allowed to have either other than the US)

Besides that, it would probably be in their best interest to fight on our side, considering that plenty of Asian countries are still pretty pissed about Japanese brutalities.

Did someone actually say that?

They don't have a military and also, to be fair, the US showed Japan firsthand the power of the atomic bomb, and repeatedly told them, "Surrender or we'll drop this.". The bombing places? Bad, but the US technically did warn them many times.
