If Hitler had submitted to his governing authorities, the Nazi movement would have never started.

Hitler was a bad person but he also did a lot of good. He brought Germany out of the horrible state it was in after WW1 single handedly. They were suffering in a recession and improved his citizens quality of life. He was a WW1 veteran also. For ***** sake, he was time magazine's man of the year before and was on the cover more than once... He did some good things and he did some bad things. Germany was a wreck after WW1 with all the sanctions and new rules they had to abide by. He made them a super power once again.

WHERE IS THE CONTEXT!!!
#8 to #6 - thatguyuthinkuknow (04/12/2013) [-]
that's the first verse in the chapter, that is the context in the King James Version "Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God." with reference too Pet. 2:13 "Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether it be to the king or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, For so is the will of God."

MFW "unto governors"

Is it only me that is more interested in that they managed to build this in LEGO, and is trying to figure out what sets they are from (seems like using the Nazis from the Indiana Jones set's would've been too easy)

OK SECOND DAY
I've seen some "bible quote" be considered funny.
No, I am not religious. but I am respectful.
You CANNOT quote the bible. Why? For two main reasons
1) The Bible is a collection of stories meaning to send a message of morals and ethics on how to correctly live as a decent human being. It's not ment to be taken literally.
2) Quoting things is utter **** because it completely removes it out of context

For Example, Let's pretend I say, "Anyone who thinks OP isn't a ****** , is wrong"
Now let's make a quote: "OP isn't a ****** "
See how the message is completely distorted?
No one would have known OP was a ****** because of the quote out of context
Lets all try not to make this mistake next time hmmmm?

I like to think the bible tries to give a good message. Or at least the ten commandments do.

So I try and follow them instead of a specific religion. Religions are just in it for the money and after years or re translating it the message could have been misinterpreted. And that is what ruins religion.

It's true. The problem arises when people are allowed to choose who rules them. People are dumb.
