Chromosomes

usta = Eerm E .
Lest
one time in freshman year my biology teacher was teaching us about
chromosomal disorders and apparently some women can have three X
chromosomes and she went to go look up some pictures of what some
women afflicted with this condition look like. unfortunately my teacher typed
in "XXX females" and that worked as well as you' d expect

First result is en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triple_X_syndrome.

The entire first page is about triple x syndrome, Google sure has change a lot from my time. It use to anything you typed lead to porn, now you have to go out of your way to find it.

When they taught me that i was quite funny. Apparently these women are short, slutty and CRAVE for attention. Everybody looked at the short girl who for "some" reason always had a boyfriend.

Not nearly as bad as my German class. We were talking about the company "Steiff" which sells teddy bears , pictured over there <---, and my teacher acciddently input "steif" into google images. Well, turns out "steif" is the german word for "stiff" or "erect". You can imagine the results...

The 3rd chromosome is just their, it isn't activated during development and never gets used.

so people with downs syndrome just have "an extra chromosome that doesnt get used" too? It doesn't work that way dumbass. People with extra X chromosomes are affected, the affects just aren't dabilitating. usually things like height abnormalities.

I meant sex chromosomes, see when a baby is in its early stages of developement, its automatic X chromosome is activated, (This is why men have nipples) now either the other X chromosome is detected if it's a girl (which continues developing the baby into a girl) and if the Y chromosome is detected it activates starting development into a boy. Now what you're thinking of is an XYY abnormality in boys where during puberty the extra Y chromosome is activated, signaling the release of extra hormones, this doesn't always mean the boy will have height abnormalities. For a women though, the extra chromosome isn't activated because it isn't needed. So I believe you're the dumbass not I.

just wikipediad to check. excerpt: "Girls with Triple X syndrome are at increased risk of delayed language development, EEG abnormalities, motor-coordination problems and auditory-processing disorders, and scoliosis. They tend to show accelerated growth until puberty. Premature ovarian failure seems to be more prevalent in these women, but most Triple X women seem to have normal fertility."

Genetics is a weird phenomenon. For example, a girl will have XX of her sex-linked chromosomes but only uses one in her genetic coding. However, if a girl was to have only 1 X chromosome (i.e. X- 45 which is called Turner Syndrome), she will still have some developmental deformity.
