But in the game it's 1912, those movies haven't even been thought of yet....

I'm pretty sure a lot of things in Bioshock Infinite weren't really around in 1912.

"People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually, from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint, it's more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly... timey-wimey... stuff."

The old style cover of Tainted Love was one of the best things I've ever heard.
User avatar #29 to #5 - retardedboss (04/11/2013) [-]
I heard some homeless girl singing fortunate son. it was awesome.

You can also hear Tainted Love on a gramophone somewhere in the game, and before the raffle in the beginning of the game, there is a quartet singing God Only Knows.
There's probably a lot more that I missed though.

Spoilers

When you are looking for Elizabeth's mother (ie siren thing) if you go into the falling building by the grave there will be a tear playing a recently made. (I can't remember the song).

That's the house of Finks brother, who is a musician. He hears music from the future or from other dimensions that come through tears, and then publishes it as his own work.

Fink also mentions in one of his voxophones that he is watching a brilliant biologist through a tear. Some believe that this is the creator of the Big Daddies from the original Bioshock, and that this inspired him to make the Handymen.

its a city in a sky and youre questioning the existance of movies?

My logic needs to set priorities. Floating cities just don't fit in there for some reason.
