Kreatine. I'm not sure if I spelled it right, but it's a protein suppliment that actually helps a lot from what I see in my friends.

The Rock isn't on Roids I don't think, there's pictures of him when he was 15 and he's huge. He just has really good genetics, a lot of money to pay for what he has to eat/proteins etc.

Wut?

They didnt have the nutrition back then... Or the scientific knowledge of the best techniques... They also couldnt get enough protein in their diet realisticly to be a body builder. A general body builder needs something like 24 chicken breasts worth of protein a day. No way could they be eating 12 chickens a day plus all their other dietry needs a day hundreds+ years ago...

Oh, and this guy wasnt even a bodybuilder. Just a heavyweight Wrestling champ. Picture is from 1899. He is still very big.

Say all you want about the evils of steroids, but the Rock is far stronger than some wrestler from 1899.
Is this just a way for you people to protect your egos? "I'm not as big because I don't take steroids, but I'm natural so I'm stronger, because somehow I don't believe that having larger muscles makes you stronger."

Lol, read something about, say, Eugene Sandow or Aleksander Zass and come back when you'll have educated yourself.

And what do you say about Brzenk defeating Cyplenkov or Voyevoda? Does size matter here?

Sandow and Zass are both bodybuilders who lifted lighter weights than Johnson.

Can Johnson pull up using only one finger of one hand, no matter which? Sandow could. He also crashed his car, and took it out of the ditch with his pelvis shattered. He drove to the hospital, where he died, but hey...
In their times there was no difference between bodybuilder and strength freak. The strength doesn't demonstrate only in deadlift, you know?

Why not? Armwrestlers are probably the best example of pure power athletes, combining both extreme maximum strength with explosive power.

not only that, he has been working out since he was a teenager and has been working out his entire career and stayed somewhat the same size the past few years, however nobody seems to find it weird that suddenly he got twice his size in less than a year despite having been into bodybuilding pretty much all of his adult life...

Now im not sure about this but its just a theory, maybe he didnt do steroids im hoping not maybe he just focused on size more than anything for the movie he's starring in Pain & Gain Mark Walberg did the same thing, people act like you cant all of a sudden get bigger, have you seen the **** Christian Bale has done?

Pic related its the movie and that might actually be a picture from him on set

p.s. theres always a chance it could be shopped because that doesnt really look normal to me anyways

Actors use anabolic steroids and other chemistry all the time for their roles. Their roles often require them to put on mass within a short period of time. Other examples include Tom Hardy, Christian Bale, Chris Evans, and Chris Hemsworth. They have access to some of the best doctors and endocrinologists to help them with the hormone treatments, so of course they would be getting treatments.
Furthermore, their training regimes are often horrible and poorly structured (if their personal trainers really tell the truth about the "amazing" programs they put them on). Examples of normal mass gains would be Taylor Lautner, whose personal trainer is an utter moron. The reason for his gains were mainly due to him being a beginner (hence his gains were beginner gains).
The last step is, of course, photoshop. This is often used to make the abs look better for some reason, like they're the only muscle in the body... Even Ryan Gosling admitted they used photoshop for his role in Crazy Stupid Love

Dude, Bale has been taking so much steroids I suspect his testicles is the size of a peanut and his Sertoli cells close to none.

There is no natural way to gain muscle as he did after The Machinist.

Finally someone with some sense.
People are really in denial when defending their favorite role model, like people defending Lance Armstrong for years, when he was doped up out of his mind.
Then when he comes clean on television, the same people are like "Yeah, i totally knew that all along".

There is absolutely no way The Rock isn't using steroids. Why wouldn't he? - Everyone does it, and if he has to get massive for a role, no way is he going to do it full natty brah.

The rule of specificity also says that improvement gets harder and harder to achieve - thus a marginal increase in performance for an "elite" athlete is much harder to gain than a beginner. Getting to his size would require chemicals
